Beauty treatment for the week before your wedding

The seven days leading up to your wedding day will be filled with joyful nervousness and excitement. Your stress level is going to be at an all-time high. There are probably going to be dozens of last minute errands to take care of and last minute details to iron out. Even the most organized brides start to feel a bit jittery when it gets to crunch time – the week before the wedding. The last thing that you want is to look like you’ve been through the wringer on your walk down the aisle. On the day you get married, you want to look more beautiful than you ever have in your life.
You want to look and feel like a fairytale princess. Not only is this a life-altering day for you and your future husband, but it’s also a day that will forever be captured through photography and maybe even videography. With all of this pressure weighing heavily on your soon-to-be-wed shoulders, it helps to invest in some relaxing and revitalizing beauty treatments during the week before your wedding so that you will be at your bridal best!

Manicure
When your husband slips that wedding band on your finger, you want your hands to look beauty and feel soft, and you want your nails to be stunning. At your wedding reception, many of your guests are going to want to look at your rings, so you will want your hands to look their best. Jagged cuticles and broken nails simply will not do for your wedding day. Get a manicure at a salon or spa, complete with a moisturizing and exfoliating hand massage. You can either get a French manicure, which is a classic bridal look, or you can have them painted to match your bouquet. It’s best to stick with light colors since you will be wearing white. Bright red nail polish is a no-no for brides, even if you have red flowers.

Pedicure
Many brides wear open-toed shoes on their wedding day, so getting a pedicure is a good plan. Plus, pedicures are extremely relaxing and stress-reducing treatments. If you are going on a beach honeymoon, you will want your bare feet to look lovely as well. Get your toenails painted to match your fingernails.

Facial
If you have not had a facial before, or if you have not been getting facials regularly in the months leading up to your wedding, you should not get one the week before your wedding. There is a chance that your skin will have an adverse reaction to the treatment, and you could wind up with a breakout or redness. However, if you have been getting facials regularly, you should definitely get one a week before your wedding. A steam facial is especially therapeutic, and the result will be a fresh and glowing complexion and a major release of tension. Make sure you tell the person giving you the facial that you are getting married in a week so that he or she knows not to use anything overly abrasive.

Hair Gloss
A hair glossing is a must-have beauty treatment for every bride-to-be. When you go in for a gloss treatment, your hair will first be shampooed and conditioned, and then a cooling gel that is enriched with shine-inducing nutrients will be applied to your hair. Your hair will be shinier than ever, and it will feel soft and silky smooth as well.
