With sandal season is just around the corner, concerns about unattractive feet jump to the forefront. After a winter spent in boots, skin on feet tends to be dry and scaly or have thickened areas, and the appearance of toenails may be shocking.
No one wants to pair ugly feet with great-looking new sandals. Part of the problem for most people is simply that feet often get put at the bottom of the personal care 'to do' list.
A realistic approach involves making a commitment to take the time necessary to enhance the appearance of your feet, as you would your face or any other part of your body.
Here are five simple steps for a foot "make-over":
1. Start by getting into a regular foot care regimen. A daily (or weekly) "aromatherapy" foot bath provides both stress relief and the opportunity to concentrate on foot appearance. Fill a container (big enough for both your feet) with very warm water and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil or a tablespoon of any fragranced liquid hand soap.
2. Examine toenails and take action if they are unsightly. For unattractive yellow or thick toenails, a natural approach is to use NonyX® Nail Gel, a topical, easy-to-use and diabetic-friendly gel used by podiatrists, but also sold in pharmacies. NonyX Gel works by breaking down and removing keratin debris - the discolored, yellow or thick granular buildup under nails which causes them to appear yellow, dark or discolored. NonyX Gel softens keratin debris so that it can be scraped out from under the nail, beginning after about four weeks (better get started!). With regular use, toenails look clear and healthy.
3. Trim toenails carefully and tend to cuticles. Toenails should always be trimmed straight across - easier to do when they're damp from the shower. Toenails also deserve the attention of a scrub brush to clean underneath. Invest in high quality instruments and never share pedicure or manicure implements with anyone else. If cuticles are a problem, use a cuticle softener and then push back the cuticle.
4. Exfoliate and moisturize dry heels and hardened areas. There are many foot moisturizers on the market. One of them, CalleX® Dry Heel Ointment, moisturizes, softens and exfoliates all in one application. CalleX Ointment is also diabetic-friendly and results in baby-soft feet within in just a few weeks.
5. Use nail polish sparingly; Use sunscreen liberally. While nail polish provides a temporary fix for unattractive toenails, continuous use is not advised. Toenails need to breathe and have occasional breaks from polish. Fresh air and sunshine are great for feet and toenails, but sunscreen is advised to protect sensitive skin from harmful rays.
If you start now with the right products and a real commitment, attractive feet can be yours by summer!

Good information.
I came across many queries in several forums where people have been asking for advice on the best glue that can be used on nails and that is not only strong but also safe on nails. This was the same question I had sometime back when I used to apply nail gel myself. Initially the glue I got would never hold on the way it used to when done in the salon. I then came across the nail glue being sold on gel-nails which lasts very long and is pretty easy to apply. It provides a strong bonding for my nails and also does a great job in repairing the nail tips.
Most important of all is that this is strong glue I was actually looking out for and this is used by nail salons and nail artists for professional applications. It is available at a cheap price at gel-nails and I remember seeing it at a discount of 74% which is great. Maybe this can help if you also face problems relating to poor glue quality as I did earlier.
