Women--How to Look Thinner!

I know we’ve all had days where we look in the mirror and wish we could somehow make ourselves look magically thinner. Maybe it was that weekend binging that added a few extra pounds or maybe this is a constant battle for you, but here are some great tips for anyone.

Step1--Watch how you dress! You don’t want your clothes to be too tight or else you’re going to look larger and have more “rolls” than if you just go with something a little less clingy. Be especially careful of elastic or spandex. While you may be able to get away with a stretchy top, you should never wear tight, stretchy bottoms if you don't have the body for it.

Step2--Not too big either! There is a very fine line between wearing clothes too small and too large. If you opt for the baggier clothing because you think it disguises your larger parts, think again! It’s just going to cover everything up and make you look larger than you are. You need to find a good medium when picking out clothes your size. Bring a friend you can trust for an honest opinion.

Step3--Pick clothes that accentuate your assets! If you’re waist is large but your butt is perfectly proportioned don’t hide it all. Show off your best parts with the right clothing. Sometimes this may require a certain top or bottom depending on your proportions. Choose for your body type.

Step4--Don’t forget the girdle! While it may sound like something from the 40’s and 50’s, there are many modern day alternatives to the girdle to slim down that middle. Try out different ones and find the perfect fit for you. While you may not wear one everyday, you can save it for those days when you’re feeling a little too bloated around the middle.

Step5--Wear heels! This is probably the most well known trick for looking thinner. The longer your legs look, the better. Try a high waist and heels and you’ll instantly notice the difference. Give all of these tips a try and you’ll be feeling thinner very soon.

Tips & Warnings
Remember to keep a good posture! A poor posture can add pounds to your middle.
