How to Apply Makeup For a Natural Look

Achieving the right look with makeup can be a task for some of us. Most women want to look natural, yet flawless in our makeup. With a few easy steps and tricks, it is possible to look beautiful yet natural without appearing plain and washed out.

Step1-- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser such as Neutrogena or Clean and Clear. Pat dry with a towel. Apply a mild facial moisturizer like Oil of Olay or Dove.
Step2 --With a slightly damp makeup sponge, apply a foundation that matches your skin tone. Smooth into face with your fingertips and blend out into hair line. Wipe off eyebrows to remove excess foundation build up.
Step3 --Smooth an a concealer under your eyes to hide dark circles and even out skin texture. Finish base foundation and concealer with a loose powder. Apply loose powder with a make up brush, lightly dusting over entire face.
Step4 --Choose a neutral colored blush and apply with a make up brush on the apples of cheeks. Use an upward sweeping motion to blend in blush and accent cheek bones.
Step5 --Line upper eye lid with a brown liner and blend with finger. Apply liner to only half of lower lid beginning at the outer corner of your eye. Blend with your finger.
Step6 --Lightly dust entire eyelid with a vanilla colored eyeshadow. Follow up by applying a light brown eyeshadow to crease of eyelid and outer corner of eye. Blend with a make up brush.
Step7 --Apply one coat of brown-black mascara to upper and lower eye lashes. Curl upper lashes with an eye lash curler. Apply another coat of mascara to upper eye lashes only.
Step8 --Apply a neutral colored shade of lipstick and blot lips on a paper towel. Finish look by applying a clear lip gloss to lips. You can also use a neutral colored tinted lip gloss instead of lipstick.

Tips & Warnings
The trick to natural make up is all in the colors. Choose neutral browns, pinks, and peaches that match your skin tone for a flawless look.
Browns and cream colors are great for natural looking eye shadows. If you must use greens or purples, just be sure they are neutral in shade.
Bronzing powders are a great way to achieve a little extra color. Just be sure to lightly dust all over face and dust again with a neutral loose powder shade.
Using a tinted moisturizer before applying make up will help give your skin a little color. Be sure you never apply make up to heavily.
Black eyeliners ruin the look of natural makeup unless you apply and blend them lightly.
Do not use dark shades of blush or lipstick as they tend to give you a more made up look.

theres a lot of time and work needed to get the natural look. Even your natural look still looks like makeup. The best why to get a natural look is to be natural or get cosmetic surgery.
